Get the Look

Color trends have a way of progressively vanishing in and out of style with the seasons. And the most recent “it color”, according to the New York Times, is bright orange. If you think about it, it makes sense that orange would be hot this season – remember last spring’s orange lipstick trend? Orange clothing is the next sound step towards market saturation.

Just endeavor on all of your favorite clothes.

Take notes on how they fit and butter up you. Shop for similar colors, fabrics, shapes and lengths. A great in shape can make an outfit, just as a poor fit can break it! A well-cut suit is one of the most flattering outfits you can own. keep in mind: dark tones create a long line. Choose a fingertip length jacket or one that falls mid-hip. Pants should be straight leg or boot cut and the hem should be worn slightly long. Select flat knit, fine rib and jersey tops; select pants with flapless pockets, flat fronts with just adequate stretch for added comfort. Know thyself - Know your proportions!

Give you an idea about the trimmest parts of your body by combining a tight fitting piece with a loose fitting one. Any color worn head to toe in a clean, unbroken line will produce a dynamically slimming effect. Don't worry if separates don't match exactly. Tonal variations are a creative alternative. Comparatively Taller bodies can take larger prints and more contrast.

The darker a print's background, the slimmer the look. Blouses: a collared shirt always gives a torso a few good inches and frames the face attractively. A slim v-neck makes the neck appear longer and is usually very flattering. Boatnecks are great for minimizing waists and hips, while maximizing sexy shoulders. If your legs are fuller inside, try a side slit. If your legs are fuller outside, a mid-front or back slit is a better choice.

There is never an apology for panty lines! A thong is a girl's best friend - they even come with belly control. Bright colors bring concentration to an area - make sure you wear them sensibly and only on your most flattering body parts. Dark hosiery is in this fall. While brightly colored turquoise and scarlet hose may look great in the store window, muted hues like teal and wine are much more flattering. Match the shoe and the hose color to tighten the look even more. A shoulder bag tucked quietly under the arm is most flattering.
Stilettos are back and in spite of the uneasiness at times - they make your legs look like a million dollars!

Seasonal Changes

The seasonal change cues fashion media editors to present the public with “must-have” and “no-no” listings, which, no matter how distinctive or careful we might think we are, finely compel us to think again the stock in our private wardrobes.

The old saying, “catch them when they are young” can be applied to fashion education. For example, when experts visit fashion colleges and advise students on the latest European trends – as if these are the unassailably essential forms of good design and as such, critical to design success – are we not diluting their artistic resources?

In these times of financial tension and budget adjustments, does “fitting in” with rapidly changing fashion cycles not pose challenges to designers and customers alike? Are we prisoners of fashion dictates, or could we consider co-creating new looks with minimal expense? How can local fashion designers sustain themselves by working around and within global and local market forces?

By means of strong marketing, our individual uniqueness can become effaced by homogenized clothing, a veneer that suggests we are part of a familiar whole. Trend forecasters, retailers and brand conglomerates launching new styles, fabrics, cuts and colors stoke the coals of peer pressure that conditions us to be seen in the latest ranges. As social beings, we are construed as a collective commodity traveling in a continuum of design renovation that is dictated by a few but embraced by the masses, often with little thought to suitability or personal imagination.

Being seen in the right brand wearing the “in” label of a particular designer neutralizes our individuality and leads to a contradiction of the purpose of fashion: individual style portraying human uniqueness; instead, we become fashion clones.

By conforming to seasonal trends, are we not impeding the innovation and growth of young fashion designers emerging in the market? There are a few designers who have created distinctive aesthetics and have steadily built a brand following. These looks are not confined to the examples seen on catwalks at Fashion Weeks events; idiosyncratic, semi-mass-produced, wearable garments are also available.

The 3 Top Fashionable Trends & Tips for Men

In Mens fashion you need no worry to spend that much to look good. With fanatical eye for fresh styles, quality fabrics and sophisticated designs, modestly priced apparels can look and appear fashionable. Oftentimes, it’s the wearer that brings the true essence of fashion to clothes worn.

Here are the subsequent tips for those who want to give a free rein to the stylish man in them without spending extra cash on luxury brands.

1. Only seem for high quality clothes that look stylish and classic but are reasonably priced. Go for stores that are not only nearby to the upper class but to other markets as well. Make it a point to source for durable fabrics and ensure that the fit is almost perfect, as if it were custom-made. Therefore, each piece you buy should pass muster in both superiority and design.

2. Search for menswear that are relevant to fashion trends and caters to diverse styles. Unless you want to look outmoded and behind the times, but for men who want to be hip and all the rage should look for cutting-edge designs while remaining elegant and timeless.

3. Men’s fashion is an essence of a refined and well-rounded gentleman. The independence of choice is endless, from the color, the number of buttons and the details. As clothes speak your personality, it should therefore be something that is tailored to your exact specifications, and one that is completely unique to you.

In short and snappy to say, men’s fashion varies. It can be deafening details and artisanal designs; tomorrow it can be a polished minimalist statement. Wherever these fashion trends take you, the secret to a true hip and trendy man is the impression of knowing your unique and your very own style.
